Clinic

It was great to see so many people at our clinic with Bernard Morauw on August 22nd. Bernard told me wonderful things about each of you and really enjoyed his day. Bernard’s lessons focused on “rideability.” He had riders work on shortening and lengthening strides and on adjusting their horse in between jumps. I heard great feedback from participants. We hope to bring Bernard back again next year.

Thanks to all the hard work so many people volunteered to get Bent Creek spiffed up. It was wonderful to have one day of somewhat “normalcy” in this crazy world in which we live.

I posted photos from the clinic on our Photos Page so take a look!

Tack Sale

We had so many donations to our tack sale. Thank you to everyone for donating items. A huge shout-out to Erin Melloy for donating a lovely saddle and a beautiful tack trunk, both of which sold. Thanks to everyone for purchasing things. Thanks to everyone who helped setup, take down, and handle money. We ended up taking in $1,041.00! This is money that we use to bring in great clinicians and speakers. Thank you so much!

We were also able to make a huge donation of all the leftover items to Miracles in Motion. Lois James (the President of the Board of Directors) really appreciated it.

Next we move on to Pony Club Certifications in September and we are hoping to have Jane McDowell come teach a mounted clinic on November 15th depending on weather and COVID conditions.

See you at the barn!
