The sponsor meeting took place while members enjoyed bowling and LASER tag at the Westdale Bowling Alley in Cedar Rapids, IA. Thank you Dianna for organizing the great party!
Attending: Sponsors: Gerry Jones, Dianna Romanick, Dana Oxley, Amy Luttinger, Camille Dykstra, Lara Marsh, Holly Waite, Anne Wallis, Jennifer Lee, Jane Hutchins, Susan Daufeldt.
Some of the older members (D3 and above) attended a portion of the meeting and participated in some of the discussions. These included Christian Kennedy, Maija Luttinger, Taylor Oxley.
The Treasurer’s report: Dana stated that the Dec. Checking Balance is $3422.30
Primary discussions involved the organization of Winter Camp, our calendar for 2014, and setting dates for the Summer Camp. It was decided that through March the sponsors meeting would take place while the members were at an unmounted meeting. We also agreed to run a “classroom” at the Mock Quiz Rally on Feb. 8.
After these discussions, Sponsors joined the members for the Christmas Party. Gerry recognized the individual accomplishments (horse related) for the year of each member and handed out special thematically decorated sugar cookies made uniquely for each by Dianna.
